October 4th is the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi. On Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 10:30 am bring your pet dog, cat, hamster, rabbit, etc., to the St. Francis Courtyard and Father Leo will offer a blessing to the animals. St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals, ecology, merchants, and Italy. He is known for his deep love for all creatures, his work with the poor, and his efforts to care for the environment. There will light refreshments with people and pet treats.

Earlier on in the season, we were directing families to have there 8th grade and high school students that are ready for Confirmation to enroll in a Confirmation Program at another church. However, upon further consideration we will offer a Confirmation Program here at Our Lady of Lourdes for any families that wish to have their son or daughter be confirmed through Our Lady of Lourdes. We are sorry for the misdirection we have given over the past few weeks. If any of our parents that asked about confirmation and were directed to go to the Basilica of St. Mary, you are welcome to reconsider partaking in the Confirmation Program here at Our Lady of Lourdes. Busy Bags have returned for our youngest faithful and can be found in the front vestibule of the church. We ask that you PLEASE return the bags back to the bin in the vestibule after EACH Mass so that other young faithful can use them at other Masses. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter. Beginning the weekend of November 16th and 17th there are new procedures to receive free parking at the RiverPlace Parking Garage while at Mass. You will now need to use your smart phone to scan a QR code that will be in the back of the church. This method will require you to complete a registration for the new parking procedure. Please see the link below for the new procedure to park at the RiverPlace Parking Garage.

You may purchase your Meat Pie at the Church Office in the Old Rectory from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Tuesday through Friday.

We are starting a Prayer Shawl Ministry at Our Lady of Lourdes. If you knit or crochet, and would like to participate in this ministry, please contact the Parish Office. We are also happy to accept donations of yarn for this project!
