October 4th is the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi. On Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 10:30 am bring your pet dog, cat, hamster, rabbit, etc., to the St. Francis Courtyard and Father Leo will offer a blessing to the animals. St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals, ecology, merchants, and Italy. He is known for his deep love for all creatures, his work with the poor, and his efforts to care for the environment. There will light refreshments with people and pet treats.

Looking to become Catholic? Looking to get to know your Catholic Faith better? Perhaps you haven't explored the Catechism since you were confirmed as a teenager? Join us for Our Lady of Lourdes Faith Formation through the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA). Our OCIA classes feature great presenters, great discussion, and great reflection. Whether you are a Catholic and interested in deepening your understanding, or non-Catholic and seek to come into the Church, we encourage you to join us – we guarantee you will learn things about the Faith that you did not know!

It is that time of year. The 2025-2026 Faith Formation Registration is now open. If you have children ages 4 and up you are encouraged to enroll them in 2025-2026 Faith Formation Program. Classes begin September 21, 2025 We will be using the same “Family Formation” program we used this previous year. Please register by to the going to the Church Webpage under the Formation Page and then to the Children's Faith Formation Tab. We are having a Book Study this fall season. We will be reviewing and discussing the book - "Mary; Royal Mother of the Messiah." "Studying and contemplating Mary through the Scriptures enables us to encounter here as mother, counselor, and inspiration. She is the surest path to knowing and loving Jesus, for all her dignity and greatness comes from him alone. Pondering her many regal titles as well as her simple humanity, we come to know her as a strong, resilient woman and the royal mother of God's people. Mary shows us the path to be redeemed, sanctified, and glorified" (Threshold Bible Study, Stephen J. Benz). Group sessions begin Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 10 am to 11:15 am and Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 6 pm to 7:15 pm. Please register by clicking on the title above.
