The financial support of parishioners and friends of Our Lady of Lourdes is crucial both now and as we move into the future. Your support enhances our current programs and supports new initiatives, helping to serve the poor, provide community outreach, and ensure we will continue to welcome new parishioners for years to come.
Cash gifts are the simplest and easiest way to make a gift. This can be done during the offering at mass, via the mail, or by making a digital payment (e.g., online, text). For those considering a planned gift or a targeted gift to make a lasting impact to the future of our parish, please visit the Legacy and Planned Giving page.

Tax-Efficient Giving Appreciated Stock or Securities Giving appreciated securities or mutual funds is a tax-efficient way to give by allowing you to reduce or even eliminate federal capital gains taxes. You may also be entitled to a federal income tax charitable deduction based on the fair market value of the securities at the time of the transfer.
Tip! Appreciated assets are also a great choice for creating a charitable remainder trust, charitable gift annuities or a beneficiary designation gift. Contact your financial advisor or attorney for more information on this type of giving.
Retirement Plan Assets Donating part of your retirement assets, such as your IRA, 401(k), 403(b), pension, or other tax-deferred plan, is an excellent and tax-efficient way to make a gift. If you are age 70½ or older, you have the option to make a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) from your traditional IRA directly to Our Lady of Lourdes.
A QCD can both further your philanthropic goals and is a powerful tool reduce your tax liability. If you own a traditional IRA or a 401k or 403b retirement plan, you will need to begin withdrawing a Required Minimum Distribution annually from your account once you turn 72, (73 if you turn 72 right after 12/31). These required distributions are included in your taxable income, but a QCD can reduce your tax liability that would otherwise be owed on the income. In 2025, you may use a QCD to donate up to $108,000 to qualified charities directly from your IRA. Matching Gifts Often overlooked, your employer may offer a matching gift program. These programs typically match gifts dollar for dollar, immediately doubling your impact to our parish.
