Anointing of the Sick

By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them. And indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ.  CCC 1499

Process:

Anointing of the Sick is made by appointment; please call Mary Asp in the parish office if you desire to be anointed.

We will celebrate the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick at the 4:30 Mass on Saturday, December 7th. We invite all those who are sick, anticipating surgery, dealing with a chronic illness, or experiencing a decline in health to attend that Mass and be anointed.
