Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting and abstinence from meat.

• Mass at 12:05pm
• Mass at 5:00pm

   Friday's at 5:00 pm (March 7 - April 11)

 On Friday, March 14 we extend a special invitation to families to join          us for a family themed Stations of the Cross.

   On Good Friday, April 18, Stations of the Cross will be at 12:00pm             noon on Good Friday.

The Sacrament of Anointing will be offered at the 4:30pm Mass on Saturday, March 22, 2025. We invite those who are anticipating surgery, or who have a chronic illness, or who have experienced a decline in health to come and celebrate the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.

All children and Families of the Parish are invited to participate in the Palm Procession into the church at the 10:30 am Mass on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2025.  Please meet in the entrance to the church with Father Bauer before the Mass.

Holy Thursday (April 17, 2025)

• Mass of the Lord's Supper - 7:00pm*
  • Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until 9:00pm

Good Friday (April 18, 2025)

• Good Friday is a day of fasting and abstinence from meat
• Stations of the Cross  - 12:00pm
• The Passion of the Lord* - 3:00pm
• Tenebrae  - 7:00pm
  • What is Tenebrae?  Tenebrae is a traditional liturgy of the Church where the faithful meditate upon the passion, death, and burial of the Lord. The word Tenebrae means “darkness”, because these services were celebrated after sunset and lit by candlelight. As psalms and scriptures are sung or said, candles on a candelabrum are gradually extinguished until only one remains, symbolizing Christ. That final candle is taken
    out of sight, and in the darkness there arises a great sound, the strepitus, that represents the confusion and chaos of the death of Christ. Then the candle is returned, and all depart in silence. While this is a beautiful devotional liturgy in our Catholic tradition, its intent is to complement--not replace--the Liturgy of the Passion of the Lord held earlier in the day.
