Marriage Preparation Mornings Sessions are scheduled about three times per year. You should plan accordingly to have participated in a Marriage Preparation Morning no less than 6 months before your wedding date. The next Marriage Preparation Mornings are scheduled for Saturday, January 25, 2025. Future sessions are tentatively Saturday, May 3, 2025 and Saturday, September, 6, 2025

This Baptism Preparation Session is currently postponed due to weather. A new date will be rescheduled in the near future. All parents that are expecting within the next four months should attend. This group is for young families in the parish of Our Lady of Lourdes with young children from birth to around 8 years of age. It is a social group to provide opportunities for young families in the parish to connect and enjoy time together.

We will be having an initial meeting on ​​Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 6 PM​ in the Small Hall at Lourdes to brainstorm and plan events to revive the Men's Group here at Our Lady of Lourdes. The Men's Group was a vital faith based group for men to come together and share their faith and to be service to Our Lady of Lourdes and the surrounding Twin Cities. We hope to revive the group once again. Open to all Men in the parish and beyond.

All men of the parish are invited to participate in the 2025 Archdiocesan Catholic Watchmen Men's Conference on March 22 at the Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids. This conference is designed to awaken, invigorate, and strengthen men in their love for Jesus. This conference offers a great opportunity for strengthening solidarity among the men of our Archdiocese, helping us-as disciples and spiritual fathers -to provide, protect, and lead the faith we share. The theme of this year's conference is “Men of Christ-Strengthened by His Real Presence.” The conference starts with Mass at 8:00 am and concludes with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The Sacrament of Confession will also be available throughout the morning. Dr. Edward Sri of the Augustine Institute will be offering the keynote address. The Sacrament of Anointing will be offered at the 4:30pm Mass on Saturday, March 22, 2025. We invite those who are anticipating surgery, or who have a chronic illness, or who have experienced a decline in health to come and celebrate the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.

Come and enjoy a good fish fry dinner at Our Lady of Lourdes. This will be the Last Fish Fry for the 2025 Lenten Season.

All the faithful especially the children of the Parish are invited to participate in the Palm Procession into the church at the 10:30 am Mass on Palm Sunday, April 19, 2025. Please meet outside the entrance to the church with Father Bauer before the Mass. The Children's Choir will lead the procession around and into the church.

Our Sunday Gospel readings are taken from the Gospel of Luke. The Gospel of Luke, Part Two demonstrates the universal nature of Jesus' mission. In Part Two of this study (Luke 12:1—24:53), using the Little Rock Bible Study Program. We will meet on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am or Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm. Please join the Catholic men of Northeast Minneapolis in a Good Friday Stations of the Cross walk on Friday, April 18th, in addition to the Liturgy of our Lord's Passion at your respective parishes. We will depart from the St. Charles Borromeo school parking lot (on the corner of 27th Avenue NE and Stinson Parkway) at 7:00 am. We will pray one Station at each of the 14 Catholic churches in Northeast Minneapolis, finishing with the 14th Station at St. Charles Borromeo church at approximately 12:00 noon. All men in the community are invited. Suggested attire is Sunday best along with comfortable walking shoes. The pilgrimage is a 12-mile walk over 5 hours, so please ensure that you are ready to complete the walk. Stations materials will be provided; bring a rosary or any other prayer aids you would like.
